Your tickets work offline

Your tickets are now there when you need them, even with no signal at the door.

  • After you open the app online once, your upcoming tickets are saved to your device automatically, with no need to plan ahead or take a screenshot.
  • A new offline screen lists your saved tickets, soonest first, and shows the scannable QR for any ticket inside its 24-hour entry window.
  • Each saved pass shows when it was last updated, and a cancelled or refunded ticket never shows a usable code offline, the same as online.
  • Privacy first: saved tickets are cleared when you sign out or switch accounts, and wiped automatically if a different person signs in on a shared device.

Faster pages, and an app that works offline

The app now opens straight to what you came for, and does not fall over when your connection drops.

  • Event pages open straight to the event, with no “event unavailable” flash on the way in, and switching between events always shows the right one.
  • The app remembers itself, so it opens faster on a repeat visit and pages you have already visited still load offline.
  • Losing your connection shows a simple “You’re offline” screen with a Try again button, not a browser error or a blank page.
  • When a new version ships, a small “A new version is available. Refresh” prompt appears instead of leaving you stuck on an old build.
  • Home, hub, and event pages load faster by fetching their parts at the same time, and the notifications panel loads only when you open it. Nothing you see has changed, it just arrives sooner.

Event Day reports, now a branded PDF

  • The post-event report now downloads as a polished, lightly branded PDF, instead of relying on a browser print-out.
  • The report, the operational debrief, and your finance exports now name the accepted staff who never checked in, and list the reference numbers for any incidents raised.
  • The Event Day emergency attendee list, the printable fallback for when scanning is down, now sorts by name so it is easy to find a person.

React to updates and releases

  • React to an organiser’s event update with a thumbs up, heart, party, or raised hands.
  • Every entry on this What’s New page now has the same reactions: anyone can see the counts, and you sign in to add your own.
  • Reactions are appreciation only. They show a simple count, never rank or reorder, and do not send a notification for every tap.

Share an update or a release into chat

  • Organisers and staff can share an event update straight into chosen chat channels, where it appears as a tidy card people can open in context.
  • You can share a What’s New release into chat the same way.
  • The channel picker groups channels by hub and event so the right place is easy to find, and only offers channels you are allowed to post in.

For organisers and admins

  • After a platform admin corrects someone’s mistyped account email, they can resend the verification and any pending waitlist confirmation in one click, so the person recovers access quickly.
  • A high-confidence email typo guard now also catches endings like “gmail.con”, suggesting the likely fix across sign-in, checkout, waitlist, and profile email changes.
  • When event staff raise an incident, they can now search the event’s own participants for the people involved, and the report keeps your draft if you close it by accident.
  • If you have reported something through Settings then Safety, you can reopen your own report to see the details you submitted, kept private to you.

Behind the scenes

Adds migrations for event update and changelog reactions, a shared chat card format for shared updates and releases, and offline support via a selective, privacy-scoped query cache plus a precached offline ticket page; event pages now render their data on the server, post-event reports render a real PDF, and the per-IP rate limit exempts trusted page loads. Expands coverage across reactions, share permissions, offline persistence, and report exports.
