Shared Details: extra info members share with your hub
A new way for hubs to collect the extra information they need from members, kept private to that hub.
- In Hub Admin, then People, then Shared Details, build the fields you want to collect: allergies, t-shirt size, emergency contact, dietary needs, club number, or anything else. Pick which fields are required, which are optional, and which are for staff eyes only.
- Members fill them in once and can update them later from Account, then Shared Details, where they also see exactly which hubs can see what.
- Anything sensitive is encrypted at rest.
- A new help page walks members and admins through it.
- Available on Pro and above.
New People workspace in Hub Admin
The People area is now a proper workspace with its own sub-tabs: People, Shared Details, Event Staff, Participants, and Interest. Each card shows a count so you can see at a glance how many people are in each list.
Buy a ticket and join the hub in one go
For public events on hubs that are private but open to join, a guest can buy a ticket and become a member as part of the same checkout. No separate join request and no second sign-up.
- A new “Join and buy ticket” flow on the event page handles both steps.
- The buyer lands on a clean confirmation page that explains both what they bought and that they are now a member.
- Hub owners still control join policy; this only applies when “open join” is enabled.
Event Questions: ask your attendees things at checkout
Event admins can now attach their own questions to a ticket purchase or interest registration.
- Build them in Event Admin, then Questions: drag to reorder, choose text, long text, or multiple choice, and mark required.
- Questions appear on the event checkout and on the register-interest form.
- Responses show up alongside the ticket or interest entry for the admin.
Chat: smarter auto-add for large hubs and events
- Channels now seed the right audience in batches so creating a channel for a big hub or event does not time out.
- Chat avatars now load from smaller thumbnails, making long conversations and the channel list noticeably faster.
- Location messages now appear at the same size as photos.
Live invitation indicators
Invitation badges (the dot showing you have an invite waiting) now update live, without needing a refresh. Accept or decline elsewhere and it disappears immediately.
For hub owners
- Hub cards on your My Hubs screen now show which plan each hub is on.
- A small onboarding nudge to set up your Seller Profile if you have not done so yet.
- When the Hubbaly team upgrades a hub’s plan for you, you now get a notification telling you what changed.
Small but useful
- Profile galleries now allow up to six photos (up from five).
- Members list emails are now clickable to open that person’s profile.
- Friendlier autofill hints on the account creation form.
- The “you’ve hit the per-person checkout limit” note stays hidden unless you actually hit the cap.
- Faster loading of message lists.
