The story of your sale
- Once 20 tickets have been bought, your event’s Sales page and its report show a Sale story card that says in plain words how your sales went. The report PDF prints the same story.
- The headline follows what happened: a sell-out in minutes, a rush, a sell-out over days or a steady sale. Tiles give the numbers behind it, such as your busiest minute, how fast half your tickets went and how soon the first ticket went.
- A chart shows the busy part of the sale: minute by minute for a rush, by day or by week for a longer sale.
- If tickets went on sale at different times, When tickets went on sale lists each time, what went on sale and how it sold. With more than one ticket, Tickets shows how each one did.
- The card says Sold out only when every place was taken. Only people who can see the event’s sales see it; buyers never do.
Invitation links you can change
- The link you hand out for a private event is now called an invitation link, and its page in the event menu is now simply Invitations.
- Press Edit on an invitation link to raise its Total places or move Expires (UK time) later.
- The link itself stays the same, so the people who already have it can keep using it, and a link that was fully used or had expired works again.
- The list shows each link’s expiry with its time, so you can see exactly when it ends.
Smoother sale openings
- When a sale opens, the event pages people have open refresh within about three seconds of each other, not all in the same instant, so the first moments of a busy sale stay quick.
- Checkout does less work for each purchase, including orders that name friends as ticket holders, so tickets are confirmed sooner.
- When a very busy sale asks some buyers to wait their turn, the waiting takes less of the server’s effort, which leaves more room to complete purchases.
Going back
- Back now returns you to where you were on the page, in the installed app and in a browser. Go back from someone’s profile and the members list is where you left it.
- The members list keeps your search, sort and filters while you look at a profile and come back.
- Profiles and Join a Hub have a back button.
Setting up hubs and events
- When you create a hub with the full form, you can choose which part of your banner shows, with previews for phones, desktops and wide screens.
- Event visibility is worded more plainly: the first choice is Hub members only, and Anyone tells you that who can buy tickets is chosen under Tickets & access.
