Videos are now part of Pro and Pro+
Album video is out of its trial period and included in the paid plans.
- Pro includes 2-minute clips and 200 stored minutes per hub. Pro+ includes 5-minute clips and 1,000 stored minutes.
- Upload from any album, or attach a video in chat. Processing happens in the background and the page shows progress until the video is ready to play.
- The hub billing screen now shows a Video storage row so organisers can see how much of their allowance is in use.
Send videos in any hub or event chat
Video is no longer limited to channels that save into an album.
- People can attach videos in every hub and event channel on Pro and Pro+. Direct messages stay text, images, and GIFs.
- In channels that save media to an album, videos land in that album as before.
- In every other channel, videos stay in the chat, visible to that channel’s members only, and never appearing in the hub’s albums.
- Chat video playback is smoother: tapped videos start playing immediately, video cards size themselves correctly before the poster loads, and upload progress shows real numbers.
Videos behave like photos everywhere else
- Save a video and it appears in your saved items with a play badge.
- Tag people in videos, including yourself with “I’m in this video”, with the same approval and visibility rules as photo tags.
- Report a video to hub moderators just like a photo.
- Videos in public albums now play for people who are not signed in, matching how public album photos already behave.
Downloads now include videos
Multi-select downloads and whole-album downloads now include videos as separate full-quality downloads alongside the photo ZIP, with the download page showing photos and videos counted separately.
Photos from serious cameras now upload
- Very high resolution images (medium format cameras, 200-megapixel phone modes, stitched panoramas) no longer fail. The limit is now around 268 megapixels, with a clear message if a file exceeds it.
- Album originals are now stored byte-identical to the file you uploaded. Download original returns exactly your file, with nothing re-encoded.
Event updates are easier to manage
- Organisers can now edit and delete event updates after posting.
- Writing an update uses the same markdown editor as elsewhere, and emailed updates render the formatting properly.
Small but useful
- Opening a chat now lands cleanly on the latest messages without the view jumping while things load.
- Event pages with a single ticket type now start with a quantity of one.
- Media lightbox buttons now say what they actually do, and lightbox navigation arrows stay put while a video plays.
