Waitlists are clearer and more useful
Waitlists now explain themselves better to buyers.
- Sold-out ticket prompts make it clearer that joining the waitlist creates a ticket request.
- Buyers can request more than one ticket when the event and ticket limits allow it.
- The waitlist page now shows Your waitlist requests, with clearer positions, ready-to-buy holds, and actions to request more tickets or leave the waitlist.
- Member-ticket waitlists now work better for open hubs, including the flow where someone creates an account or joins the hub before joining the waitlist.
- Hubs with required terms now show those terms before a waitlist request is created.
- Waitlist joins now send a confirmation email.
Checkout and sign-up stay on track
Several handoff paths now keep people in the event flow they started.
- First-time Google sign-ups from an event checkout now get a clear Continue to checkout action after profile setup.
- Existing hub members sent through a join-and-buy link now continue into the normal ticket checkout instead of landing on a passive event handoff.
- Released Ticket Return seats already held in another buyer’s checkout now say “Released ticket held in checkout”, instead of implying the seat is available right now.
Album original downloads are now controllable
Album owners can now decide who can download original files.
- Album create and edit now has an Original downloads setting beside visibility.
- Choices are Off, Signed-in viewers, or Hub members.
- The setting applies to single-photo original downloads and album ZIP downloads.
- Older direct original and ZIP links now re-check the current album policy before serving files.
Hub Admin is steadier
Several organiser screens have been tightened up.
- The Hub Admin launch checklist now treats monetisation, seller details, and payments as required for hubs that want to run paid events.
- Dashboard shortcuts now open the right Settings section.
- Long ticket type names are capped so they do not break admin feedback or payment checkout setup.
- Very long names, emails, notes, and application answers in join request history now wrap instead of creating sideways scrolling.
- Rapid repeated share-link clicks are guarded so Hub Admin cannot be flooded with duplicate links.
Small but useful
- Added a rule that a published event with sold tickets cannot be quietly unpublished back to draft.
- Staff and non-capacity ticket types still behave correctly when an event is otherwise full.
- App-install and browser-alert prompts now wait until someone has spent a little time in the app before appearing.
